Review: The Sisters of Glass Ferry

Image
The Sisters of Glass Ferry by Kim Michele Richardson My rating: 5 of 5 stars The Sisters of Glass Ferry is a thoroughly engaging novel that floats back and forth between two time periods which helps to paint a picture of love, loss, and haunting secrets between sisters. Many people can write a book but this author has weaved together a story that not only gives a glimpse of what the sisters thought but also of what they felt after every difficult trial and each unexpected revelation. Throughout the novel, readers will not know what's coming next. They will only know that they must keep reading to the end where a satisfying although somewhat unnerving conclusion awaits them. I wanted to like this book because I enjoyed reading The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek but I ended up loving it and would highly recommend it. This novel would make a great addition to any book club since the author has included thought provoking discussion questions as well
